Get your point, but surely another point towards safety?. Sure we will win one more game. Then we can look forward to DW having his own players in next season then judgement can be made

Which players will be moving on to allow for Danny's new recruits?

Aryibi? Just a year left on his contract, and unlikely, I would say, to sign a new one with us.

If we were to offer him one why is he unlikely to sign it? Has he been consistent enough to warrant interest from clubs he'd be willing to go to?

I am sure a good agent, with the aid of a well edited video of his highlights this season, will soon have him talking to many another club with deeper pockets than us. Lots of clubs would love to have him bench warming for 60 minutes or so, and come on as an impact player. If Cardiff can pay approaching £1M and Burnley roughly £600k for players to sit on their benches, there will be a team out there who would be happy to take a risk with Gboly.

Armand looked like Drogba on youtube highlights and Dean Morgan looked like Messi.

Personally I don't think Gboly has done quite enough to drum up much interest yet. Which is why the main priority for this summer is to get him on a longer deal.

What, not from a more ambitious L1 club than us? Like Burton, Walsall or Gillingham? Bet Barnsley fans would have him tomorrow.

Yeah Barnsley would probably have him seeing that 2 of his 5 decent games this season have been against them!

I think if we act this summer we can tie him down - I see him as a big improver next season with this season under his belt.

Seeing as he'd still be under contract i think i cant see a club paying a fee for him and then giving him a half decent contract on the back of a youtube video, they'll have scouted him thoroughly and seen his good and bad weeks to then make a decision if they are willing to offer a deal suitable for both us and the player. Has he done that enough to see him leave in the summer?

It's a messageboard, that's why!

If people are expecting DW to carry out a major overhaul of the squad, they're going to be disappointed. The last manager and the current CEO have ensured that the majority of the squad will be here next season.

However

Am I expecting too much to see the players who wear the shirt to make a f&&king effort!!!!!

Far too many players do not give a damn about the club, the team and the fans.

Last night I lost count of the amount of times we won the ball in a decent position and the lack of desire to get forward and support the player was shocking. Players strolling around, Donny being able to just surge through the midfield and put us under pressure.

At throw inns no movement towards the ball, nobody wanting it, looking for it, players hiding away in games, makes my bl&&dy blood boil.

In the second half we had a throw in deep in their half. I counted SIX yes SIX town players still in our own half and in the centre circle with ONE Rovers player to mark. So we had four players in the attacking part of the field and they had ten men to defend it. Is it any wonder we could not penetrate and have a shot on target in the whole of the second half!

If you play one upfront the only way this system works is that the midfield quickly push up and support the front man, the times when Novak managed to secure the ball ladt night he had no and I mean no options, players isolated because their team mates just dont want it. Lazy no scrap that and insert bone idle!!!
Danny you must see what we all see.

God I used to remember the second halfs at Saltergate kicking towards the kop, the players we had then we probably technically no better or worse than we have now. But they tried, they huffed and puffed but at least put away teams under pressure. This lot in the main are spineless, leaderless and clueless.

So to all the players and you know who you are I have this to say........

Take off your shirt, leave it on the peg in the dressing room, pack your bag and go and play football somewhere else because your simply not fit to wear the shirt of the club I love.

To finish on a positive ......

Sam Hird - immense, superb, fantastic and a true warrior, oh for a few more like you my friend!!!

spot on.

I think getting this rag-tag team of last years reserves, loanees, players who we've taken a punt on and untried kids to the 50pt mark is Something of a minor miracle.
If we won the last 3 games (unlikely) we'd finish only 10pts worse off than last year.
But clearly, improvement is required as we won't be able to ride our luck for a 2nd season
Calm down lads O'Niel back in the frame.
God I hate this league.
