well its always easier to be reasonable when you haven't been, which I haven't tonight due to work, so i'm less emotive about the game, looking at the result and the other results we can breathe a bit easier following that, the main aim tonight surely had to be not to lose and we didn't which keeps Donny at bay and makes blackpool's task of catching us slightly harder. Not there yet by any means but we are creeping closer to it.

We won't go down now, that's for sure. Even if we lose all remaining games. Worse teams than us which is our saviour.

A good game to miss! Two poor, nervous looking sides, a game of low quality but a valuable point is all I can say....

We never get anything at Swindon, home form suggests Bury could turn us over.... And I don't fancy a trip to Bradford needing anything.
Until we are mathematically safe, I'm far from sitting comfortably. It won't be the strangest thing that's happened.

Out of them Fleetwood have the easiest run in on paper.

But, we have to look after ourselves and any point from here on in is a good one.

Can't wait to know we are safe and the rebuild commences.

I think we have an easier run in than all of them!

Swindon and Bury have nothing to play for, and hopefully neither will Bradford by the time we play them. That said, everyone will want to play Crewe now they have been relegated, and Fleetwood have them.

Anything but a Blackpool win on Saturday and I reckon its done and dusted.

Sometimes playing teams with nothing to play for is a bad thing, especially when confidence is low ad nerves setting in. We are more than capable of loosing all three but I agree about the fixtures being easier on paper. Hopefully Bradford will be safely in the playoffs and resting players by the time we play them.

The downside is that if the necessary set of results to put us in danger happens, we'll end up with the poorest goal difference of all the candidates

Yeh, I guess many of us thought Wigan would win at Doncaster and then we would beat Donny at home. I imagine that if we were safe after Saturday (if thats possible) we would play some decent football against Bury with the pressure lifted. No doubt in my mind that we have been playing at home like a team in fear.

Personally I would always rather play a team with nothing to play for at the end of the season, regardless of my teams mental state. Ok sometimes you will get a freak result, but overwhelmingly the team that really needs a result will get that result.

Peterborough and Southend have been most teams whipping boys lately due to them both being virtually safe in January.
