Fair play, you're right. All these cups blend into one. No doubt more cups for the Premier League to impose their reserve teams on in time.

Stupid decision to appoint him in the first place. They're also about to be sold to some local business bloke I think.

I thought it was an American consortium that had come in to buy them?

Sorry, seems you are right. Last i saw some local bloke was all set to buy them but looking now it seems to be some US lot. As usual for County over the last few years since the Sol Campbell\Sven fiasco its all over the place over there.

There seems to be a misconception that Notts are some kind of sleeping giant but, despite being a city club, they have traditionally had low crowds, I think it must be some kind of "fame" surrounding them being the oldest club that makes them seem bigger than they perhaps are.

2 starts and a handful of sub appearances this season for Charlton before being released in January Transfer Window.

Very good player if he can get fit, and still only 26.

Weren't they bigger until the Meadows area of Nottingham was redeveloped and a lot of traditional Magpies-supporting families moved away? I worked in Nottingham for years and only encountered one County fan, and he was a casual follower at best.
These go to eleven.

A little harsh maybe. 75 appearences for Scunny and they are comfortable in this league.

Odd move on the face of it but seems to have had far more impact there than here.

That's interesting- I knew the Tommy Lawton signing was huge in its day. I think many of the traditional Meadows families moved away when it was rebuilt, though it's not the greatest area nowadays.
Why did you switch to following Town?

Morsy scores a 20 yarder in to the bottom bin, as Wigan go 4 up with a good half hour left to play!
