I am guessing that that wouldn't be difficult?

I suspect sensible discussions on this thread have been temporarily put on hold

H, did the club statement remove all doubt and ambiguity for you?

No, nor could it be expected to in the light of business confidentiality, but it removed a lot more 'doubt and ambiguity' than anything on this thread, which thrives on both.

If you want my opinion, Dave Allen wants out. He doesn't want to leave the club in a mess, in fact I'm sure he'd prefer it to thrive, but he'll explore any possibility of a sale. That, and a load of paranoid rumour, is about all I can see at the moment.

You don't help your cause by the presence of some extremely silly stuff amongst the few facts that the more sensible have dug out. Calling the CEO Turnip because his name's Turner is Primary school stuff, for instance, and you can't expect to be taken seriously while the more stupid undermine the efforts of the people who know what they're talking about.

So you couldn't be bothered to meet a Director who offered to explain the situation, but you prefer to "presume there is something dodgy going on". You might be right, but you and most others make it obvious you'd rather have any rumours than find out the facts from somebody who knows.
There are always lots of complaints that the club don't treat the fans properly. Would you expect them to treat the fans as adults on the basis of this attitude?

Why don't you just stick your head back in the sand and pipe down!?

Speaking to CT & DA about this is pointless on so many levels it's untrue. They are clearly going out of their way to delete evidence of their 'mistakes', and have previously treated supporters who went out of their way to raise issues with disdain (turning up 8o mins late for a meeting and leaving early).

Hats off to those who've done the detective work.

The first class detective work shows that CT has jumped into bed with an allegedly disreputable sponsor. The crucial point however is whether the decision is anything at all to do with fans.

How much is the sponsorship? Do fans want the money to be repaid? What if unpalatable facts arise about Proact Solutions? Perhaps they store data on behalf of President Hassad. Do we want them to pull out?

Any opportunity to meet with a Director should be taken.

Some sterling detective work going on on this thread.

Sort of makes you wish the internet and Linkedin etc. had been around when that criminal Darren Brown bought the club ...

There was plenty of rumour and innuendo about as soon as he took over, sadly it took a while for it all be become readily available information.

Forget the sponsorship part, it's not really important.

Bingham is the International Scouting Consultant for CFCFDS. If you type "Dennis Bingham Football" into Google, the first result is dated 13/11/14. I would be interested to know about Bingham's experience and knowledge of the game. Given his 5+ minute video with LS, he failed to grasp the opportunity to talk about his time at Monza & his current role with Genova International School of Soccer.

Surely a quick DM to you explaining what has been removed and why would be useful.

I'm missing your drift. If his knowledge and expertise contributes zilch to CFCFDS, what has CFC lost?. It's the sponsorship that CT wants to maintain.

Err, he's being hired/used/named as a scouting consultant. Now, I know scouts don't go to scout-school or get a GCSE in scouting, but they do have a knowledge of the game. Bingham failed to answer simple questions about how he became involved in this venture and how he fulfills his role as CFC's consultant to Genova and/or other external agencies.

He's not CFC's consultant, he's PPP's consultant. He's been brought in to try to make PPP profitable.

The whole thing, at the very least, is an absolute shambles..the press release from the club was little short of a joke.
It needs a completely honest and open report from all concerned to say what exactly is going on. I don't think we'll get that, because as a few posters on here have shown, it appears to be a far from open issue..it's so shambolic it's untrue.

"The CFSS reserves the right to remove any
posting from the Message Boards without explanation. "

If a member describes someone as a conman or uses profanities to refer to a Club official I can delete in three clicks and a few seconds. To warn them might take a minute, to compose a DM a couple of minutes. Life is too short.

The majority of deletions are collateral damage as they quote "difficult" posts, some even disagree with them. Editing the posts to reflect this takes even longer.

If anyone is unhappy with the guidelines then please don't post.
