Why has he subbed at half time last night? Tactical or injured? Didn't go to the game so apologise if i've missed something obvious..

Wilson said it was purely tactical. Wanted more impetus going forward.

He wasn't doing much. Young lad, bound to have his fair share of bad "uns.

Wilson was right as we'd been lacking any presence behind the front two and O'Shea provided that. We went from being on the back foot, first half, to attacking for most of the second. Dimaio did okay- not too involved but looks to have a decent range of passing.
These go to eleven.

Thought he was doing ok, best of the midfielders at the time I thought but proved to be the correct decision although stopping all the messing around with player positions helped as well

Worth a year, if only to continue his development.
A new hope.

Why say "ex Sheffield utd" and not "local lad" talks about playing for his hometown club if that's the line you want to peddle?
A new hope.

It's a decision that doesn't need to be made yet but I've seen enough to be confident.

He aint going to be expensive in terms of wages and has done enough to suggest he is worthy of a longer chance.

He's better than Lloyd Kerry already. I'd give him a years extension.

For his age and given his first team experience from his previous club, he's walked straight into our starting 11. For me, it's a no brained offering a new contract.

Because he is ex Sheffield Utd,that's why and has spent near on a decade at Sheffield Utd...nothing up with the headline.

The lads doing ok and he will be fine...as far as Tuesday night was concerned the debate was who was going to miss out when the change was made. Looking back I think Connor did OK ..think the system and shuffling around first half didn't help any of the players....he likes a challenge and has an eye for an interception and at least he isn't scared of playing a forward pass if it's on and he has good close control and technique which you would expect.
I believe we picked up the last 6 months of his contract from the blunts on the same terms which believe me isn't a lot. He isn't motivated by money he just wants to play and prove that he deserves to be a pro footballer. My opinion is he will be offered new terms as and when unless something unforeseen happens
