The link is just something I clicked on. I saw the "players" tab and thought I'd take a look. The second link is where you see 32 players used in some capacity.

3 players on that list are not at CFC development. Edward Watts was released at Christmas, Jack Gilchrist left just after Christmas, and Erik Arter at the top left left last year.
So who exactly were playing under those names if the match was played on the 24th of February?

Dunno but all part of "learning life at a professional football club" for those that did play

You do have to wonder where this leaves some of the players involved in the partnership.

Staveley U21's beat the development side 3-0 tonight.

Apparently Daniel Wong hasn't played for the last couple of weeks as he still awaits international clearance despite joining in early December

So a team from a suburb of Chesterfield beat the CFC team? I know the Staveley lads are likely to pay subs, but they're not paying as much as the CFC lads, are they? Maybe they get their BTEC Sport education for free from Chesterfield College, too?

If I were a paying parent of a CFCDC player (firstly, I'd need a slap for being one!), but I would be asking about value for money and what my son actually gets out this deal. If memory serves me correct, when I lived in Chesterfield 6 ago, wasn't Neil Cluxton a lecturer at Chesterfield College and a player?/coach at Staveley? If he's still there, I'd get my boy over to his team and away from CFC in a hearbeat.

Staveley were by far the stronger side and are now top of the league.

Neil left Staveley a couple of years ago after a spell as first team manager although I understand he's still at the college.

You do have to feel for the likes of Daniel Wong signs a six month contract (where he pays)
yet half way into it he's still not elegible to play albeit he has featured a few times !

A situation not to dissimilar to Liam Graham where our Chief Exec who stated when we nearly got thrown out of the FA cup that we are a professionally run club that don't make mistakes, condones him playing as Jack Hudson in FA registered league games and despite him apparently signing for the first team squad and now being eligible, appears still not to have a squad number
