I used to go to Palmerston Park a few times a season when I lived up that way. Great little ground, used to love going there. Never had any atmosphere there though.
Best ground was Morton's. Proper old school, surprised it hasn't been condemned!

I used to visit a few when I lived in Glasgow. Cliftonhill is run down, sure, but very enjoyable for anyone who appreciates a good old ground. Morton's Cappielow was a superb experience, Ayr United (live on BBC Alba yesterday) reminded me of Saltergate and I'm really glad I made it to East Stirlingshire's Firs Park before they knocked it down. Etc etc
These go to eleven.

Proper (said in total jest) town fans saw us loose there 27/10/71 (may have been tuesday night) which included a John Moyse OG and a Dan Archer missed pen., Dan offered a valued excuse for his penalty miss in the clubhouse post match "still drunk"

Played Albion Rovers and QOS at home in pre season friendlies apparently QOS enjoyed their visit to town so much they offered to reciprocate the hospitality and a few silly tw@s decided it sounded a good day out!
