Manni might not have impressed but he did well to keep himself onside when O'Shea should have done much better to put him clean through.
Couple of blokes in the kop almost burst when that happened, whinging that Mani wasn't trying hard enough and he'd 'given up' running when he was clearly just staying onside.
Same ones who complained about short corners all game despite our first coming from one.
Mani really wasn't that bad today; no he didn't do a lot upfront but as mentioned he was there to defend as much as anything else. If we'd been level I'm sure it'd have been Simons or Slew coming on.
