Well more fans than seats means you have to move some fans into another part of the ground to accommodate them is enough evidence for me.

2 games getting confused. 2001 is when we we sold quarry lane and 600 in Bishop street and they surrendered their kop but only gave us 1100 of 2050 or something they let a couple of hundred in on the day I think we had slightly more than them

The other game they sold us 2350 tickets for the North stand a few years later and the overpopulated away end meant fans on a condemned terrace on the Bishop street side

BTW scabs have managed to bring 2000 to us twice in their history. 95semi (more than we took to them!) And their famous cup final when TEN THOUSAND were there
