Following a mid morning telephone call from Nick Johnson at CFC I agreed to attend a meeting at the Proact at 3pm this afternoon.

This was to discuss the thread about the DC/PPP that has been running on this messageboard.

It was also put to me that the club were aware of the alleged accusations/statements made by a recent new board member,namely 'For your eyes only'

I contacted the said member to get their agreement to me disclosing in full their allegations,etc.

The meeting was attended by Myself,Nick Johnson,Liam Sutcliffe and Chris Turner.

The meeting ran for nearly two hours and all three of them agreed to answer all allegations and questions I put to them without any prior knowledge of what information I had.

The only information I agreed to withhold was names of persons involved,etc due to possible legal implications.

It was made clear to me that all three believed that 'For your eyes only' was a 'disgruntled' former employee whose name will be withheld.

I asked a series of questions,which were all answered I believe with honesty (No doubt I will have to suffer the consequences of that statement).

I have however had the wherewithal to stick my head out above the keyboard and go forward and ask the questions to these folks faces.

I will post all the questions and answers on here over the next day or so.

As this has been brought to a head today I will not pm the allegations/info give to me over the last few days as it will all appear in the questions.

For the record I believe Nige to be an honest, independent minded bloke who's gone to the time and trouble of addressing these issues head-on.

So the meeting was on club premises, during club time when said attending are being paid a wage by the club to do club work, yet the two aren't connected??

Well even if is a disgruntled ex employee surely that's irrelevant, if what he says is true it makes no difference who it is..are the powers that be trying to head off a scandal at the pass? I spy an early attempt to nip things in the bud....

Ex employee(s) aside, Joanne Banthorpe, the parent involved still felt the need to make contact with The Express.

By inviting Nigel in today, they've found out exactly what information he's sat on. Prior to today's meeting, they had no idea.

I presume though that mrs barthorpe has been paid back like the rest of the parents,its not like a dodgy builder ripping the life savings of an elderly person off...the only thing that is lost is trust which a price cannot be put on.
