Wasn't he one of the top scorers in the Eredivisie in 2013-14?

Scored 14 in 32 during his one year for NEC Nijmegen and player of the year in Scotland the year before that :-

Higdon scored frequently during the 2012–13 season, becoming the top Motherwell goalscorer in a season since the Second World War. He ended the season with 26 league goals in total to finish as the leagues top scorer. He was voted PFA Scotland Players' Player of the Year for the 2012–13 season.

Saw Peter Till playing for Stafford Rangers today in the EvoStik (three below the Conference). He did very little and looked lightweight before going off injured early on. Nowt changes
These go to eleven.

So are ya saying that he'd be on our bench?

Has anyone mentioned Felix Bastians is playing for VFL Bochum in bundesliga 2 after spells with Freiburg and Hertha Berlin. And now he's a defender.

He signed for Hertha as a left back a few years ago but i dont think ever really featured for them

Big word "if".

"If" we had won more points under Saunders he might still be our manager and we might all be singing his praises.

Facts, though, suggest Higdon did nowt at the Lane and did nowt at Oldham over the period of time he would have been with us "if" we had succumbed to his demands and made him our highest earner by far.

Had we have done, though, we may never have sold Doyle for good money especially "if" we had played Higdon as the "one up top" instead.

Did nowt at Oldham?

Scored 5 in 11 games. For a bottom 4 side.

If scoring a goal every other is doing nowt, then I'd like a striker who does nowt at town.
A new hope.

Please tell me you are being sarcastic...or i misunderstood you.

Novak is one of our highest earners, and he deserves every penny for his workrate alone.

Obviously Im being sarcastic - kick in the ghoulies said he'd like to see a town striker who does nowt i.e scores 1 in 2 - this is Novak for us.

Indeed, it is ridiculous to suggest a 1 goal in 2 games is doing nowt. But there are those who's default position is to describe a player who has left/didn't sign for us as useless regardless.

A new hope.

Yeah remember when Leon Clarke played for us , think he scored 9 in 14 but people suggested he wasn't good enough for us because he didn't do much? Some people even used the excuse his goal scoring record didn't count because he got 3 in 1 game 😂

Remember Craig Davies getting abuse at Gillingham away for being lazy (in the Title winning season)!
