Also might be worth adding the game where Ernie scored his record goal. Was it at the fowls?
A new hope.

I'll also add the following if they're wanted?

1969/0 v Newport County,scored all four goals.

1975/6 v Wrexham, last game before joining Peterborough United.

1978/9 v Exeter City, first game in second spell at CFC.

1980/1 v Exeter City, last game before joining Port Vale.

1984/5 v Aldershot, first game of third spell at CFC.

1986/7 v Chester City, last ever game for CFC.

The Chester city one - last game is being sought by Dim View! If you could PM him about it that would be great.
A new hope.

Was that the Friday night game? If so I bloomin missed it because my car broke down on way to Chesterfield and I missed the supporters bus.

It might be worth listing what you've got, and if it's about money raising (as it is) seeing if they might raise more through more specialist channels.

How is this going to happen?

Could the club help out here, by using one of the lounges before the benefit game and hold auctions in there?
A new hope.

Hi all.....if anybody has got items to auction please get in touch with me.
The plan is several lots will be auctioned on the day....there will be a deadline (prob full time) then highest bid is winner.
We are hoping to get items like signed shirts framed & programmes in some kind of presentation set.....if anyone can help with this, again please contact me.
All your help is appreciated by our family..you are all being amazing!!

Hi Sarah, the information from Freelander2 is helpful. We have Eion Doyle's sponsored shirt from last season but it didn't get signed due to his transfer. If the shop at Bolsover know him, and can get it signed,we'll donate it for your auction.

Remember your Dad presenting us with table tennis trophies at Mastin Moor youth club in the early seventies well before such good work got any publicity.

Best wishes, Paul.

Sarah,

Are you in touch with Dean or Jack at Rubicon? On display in the West & East Stands, Rubicon have produced some excellent printed canvases to mark special occasions in the club's history. I reckon an Ernie Moss collection would make a great auction item.

Sorry Dean!

Another suggestion for you!

When Elton John played at the stadium, Jacksons were commissioned to produce a cake, they did a superb job and it went down really well. Jacksons also produce the matchday pies for CFC.

Speak with Jane or Trevor on 01246 863027, they're both massive Spireite fans and I'm sure they could assist with an Ernie No. 8 Cake or a special Ernie matchday pie.

Also, have you spoken with Chris at Brampton Brewery? His company brewed an Ernie 8 ale back in late 2014 / early 2015 that went on sale on the concourses.
