Jamie Fullerton, new Notts Count manager

Honestly, had to google him as didn't recall him playing for us.

34 mins in a 3-0 home defeat to Stockport in 2004!!

I must have a weird memory to recognise the name!

Came with a decent pedigree having played for Palace and Saint Mirren, if memory serves. Did he really only play one game for us? Thought it was more.
These go to eleven.

According to Wikipedia he suffered his career ending injury with us.

I haven't got the full picture but it seems the few remaining County fans are up in arms about this one- Fullarton apparently caused some kind of rebellion at Bolton and is a mate of Freedman. Seems they'd have been much happier with Sheridan.
These go to eleven.

I haven't heard his name for years. What's his pedigree? Premier League youth team? Non-league whizz?

I read it as though it was at saltergate, whilst playing for Southend, but then he appeared for us after p, during the same season so doesn't make sense.

Seems he nearly lost a leg after a bad break in 2000, with the eh club physios actions in the minutes after the break, saving him from amputation!

Bloke who impressed County's strange owner at interview, it seems. Almost as daft as appointing someone after an afte-dinner speech.
These go to eleven.

He runs a successful 200+ member football academy in Spain with many players gaining pro deals in both the uk and in mainline Europe.

I wonder if there may be some kind of link up between the academy and County, too?

It seems wellying balls at young players is something which impresses Ray Trew- Curle had previous for it too:

No signing for anyone, but it looks like Downesy has done his knee again - out for rest of season.

Surely it's time to retire if that's the case. What a shame for him!
