If he's on more than 300 per week he's overpaid

Just wait to Danny gets him under his wings, I'm positively salivating at the thought

If he can work on his first touch, heading direction, jumping, pace, acceleration, vision, passing, technique, shooting, anticipation, off the ball movement, work rate, positioning and composure we'll have a player on our hands

If he's not sold before then I'd expect him to be on the bench on Saturday to keep up his apparent sale value more than anything else

Perhaps prospective buyers have asked he's brought back before he's injured playing.

He's no worse than Mani, surely.

Agree, I'd expect him to take Mani's place on the bench

Im not sure what accent Danny has but its going to be strange for armband having to adjust to another one ,especially after scouser and Neanderthal.
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

He's from the Wigan area. Met a Chesterfield lass while playing for us, settled down and stayed here ever since but retains a lancashire accent

Still not sure about Armand. There have been fleeting moments when i've thought he looked like he had real potential. I'd be interested to see him get an appearance or two under DW as I've always thought he needed confidence more than anything.

He's averaged nearly one in every two appearances whilst at Stevenage so room for improvement there then.

If nothing else he will strengthen the bench as, in my opinion, he is closer to the first team than Manni.

Manni now needs games, he's not going to get them with us, so perhaps a loan spell at somewhere like Stevenage might bring him on.

Meanwhile, if an acceptable offer does come in for Armand then it would make sense to sell so that Danny can possibly bring in another defender.

goals on loan is a decent return in a struggling team. He's a frustrating player to watch, shows some signs of brilliance then in some games he's looked like a schoolboy lost. However, his commitment has always been there and maybe under Danny's guidance he could eventually come good.Whatever happens good luck to him.

A good call.

Armand always strikes me as somebody who didn't play much football when he was younger (see his awareness, movement & anticipation) and that's why he always does better when he is getting more regular game time (i.e. away from us).

For all the knocking, then there are many periods of time whilst I've been following town that he would have been a good and long-term player for us. However, our aspirations (should that be expectations!) are quite high at the moment and indeed we've moved on a lot even from when Armand joined us early 2013 when we were mid-table basement division.

I can't speak for everybody but I think we see ourselves as top-half Division 1 and pushing on from there, once Danny has taken care of the Deano aftermath then we should be back to top-half Division 1!
