I thought Donohue was scouted and recommended by Mitch.

Yes correct but it was Saunders who brought him in on trial and ultimately ask that the club sanction his signing. I would assume him living in Chester and having scouted the North Wales area whilst manageing Wrexham he was aware of the kid.
God I hate this league.

To be fair I actually said on here a few times that I enjoyed listening to him at times, and he did seem to be sensible, flooded pitch aside!

I think he should bring out a dvd to help insomniacs! It would be an instant hit. He could certainly talk till the cows come home, then keep them calm while they were being milked!

Neither has Danny Wilson

How many games has Danny had where he's had SEB and Novak to play up front together, with Saunders it was all hit an miss with different players injuries etc - stat it up all you like but I still think Danny has had the rub of the green irrespective of change of style of play.
God I hate this league.

He was an awful manager.

If the best that can be said of him is that he bought in a couple of players who look good now he's gone then that tells you how awful.

I heard that they're going to be playing his post-match interviews on a loop in Guantanamo Bay. Tread down the earth and forget he ever happened.

RIP Deanosaurus.

If Mitch hadn't brought him here on trial, Saunders would have had no idea who he was. He was only signed because he was put under Saunder's nose

I'd say Danny has had the better luck having the goal threat we possess at this time

Eh?? He's inherited exactly the same team DS had!! DS was a shizzle manager end of! No point sticking up for him

So which of Cooper, Ryan, Roberts, Morsy, Clucas, Jones, Banks, Gardner, Ariyibi were put under Paul Cook's nose and he should get no credit for?
And did Mitch find Herd, O'Neill, Seb and Martinez or was that DS?

On the other hand danny has lost the services of jones evatt and drew....3 of saunders main back 4
...
And still stopped us shipping goals....novak and seb started more than 2 games together for Saunders and yet in only his 1st game for danny novak rattles in his 1st ever ( i believe ) hatrick and scores again in the 2nd.....its nothing to do with danny having the rub of the green.....both have had to cope with losing players. ....difference is one can manage the other is a complete footballing deanosaur. ....
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

are you suggesting we didn't have SEB and LN fit at the same time?

Any of them really. Since he's gone the entire team seems to have had a weight lifted off its shoulders!

And to think some people wanted to give him time. It must be the end of his managerial career.

Down to the previous managers tactics;

same players, different manager & a different approach = positive outcome and future.
