1 in 3 is the minimum you'd expect from a front man.

ps. Phil Thompson on Sky Sports...
"He looks like he's put a few pounds on"

LOL! Cue all the bedwetters spitting their dummies out!!!

Have you seen the 3rd goal where seb closes down there defender wins the ball and goes and scores .....not bad for a player who's put a few pounds on.....and that in the 78th minute.....so still pretty fit/fast......open your eyes.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

HaHa! See the above Phil Thompson quote.

Failing that, acknowledge that his career is on the wane, and ask yourself why. No one doubts his quality; but clearly there's a reason he was a free agent.

When you work out why that is (* A cluesee Phil Thompson quote)and why a striker who's been at Man Utd and Wolves and has played Premier League is playing for us when he should be roundt the peak of his career, get back to me.

I'm happy to acknowledge he has picked up in the last month. Hopefully DW & CM get the best out of him and he refinds the mojo he has obviously lost (not just here, ask anyone who saw him near his best). If he does, he will perhaps be good value. Otherwise not.

Get a grip. He's overweight. I'm not saying he's inapable of kinetic fecking movement!!! It's in front of your eyes. He was blowing after a 30 yard run 1st half last week. I saw it with my own eyes.

I'm not a hater, he's got quality; but you don't carry players. Unless he's on absoloute buttons and it's like Maradona playing for Napoli because they let him get off his tits on coke!!!

Yes.

And as I've said in every post that he's "A QUALITY PLAYER" etc etc it doesn't surprise me one bit. Next.

*Phil Thompson might be many things, but he knows more about football than you ever will, and he's not blind. Unlike some of you lot.

SEB's absolute quality. The reason he might be huffing and puffing is because he has to try and outjump a 6"5 defender for 90 minutes when it's hoofed up to him week in week out. I don't think I've ever been as excited when watching Town as seeing a move like his overhead kick which hit the bar, since Jack's first against Rotherham when we thrashed em 5 - 0. Breathtaking

Phil Thompson may not be blind but he wears blinkers most of the time, along with a pair of red-tinted glasses sporting a liver bird on each lens.

Do you know what i saw with my 'own eyes' today, SEB chasing down, brushing a defender off the ball and finishing expertly. But then again that was only after 80 minutes of chasing down everyball for the whole game, if he was fit he'd have celebrated with a backflip. Get rid asap
Who put the ball in the Mansfield net? Super Jackie Lesterrrr
