If we were to get anything remotely close to 50k for the big man, it would mean we actually gained a positive from the appointment of Saunders. After all, he was probably the only manager in professional football that would have offered a new contract to Armand but without it, we would have missed out on this ludicrous transfer and its fee.
Every cloud and all that.

A Stevenage supporting mate I have has text me the following
"Hi mate, it's Pronounced Nando-lay
Strong, good first touch, pacey, win headers and a good finisher on his day, lower league version of Lukaku, far too good for conference"
Maybe we should be keeping him if he's that good

The Stevenage fan giving this appraisal of Armand has got to be a used car salesman.

I suspect in the conference, another drop in level, he would be a handful and for 25k they would probably get a good value signing

Not at all. Game time at Stevenage has done him good. He is also a cheap option for us. Can't see him being here for next season-if we stay up. Every player had a clean slate when a new manager comes in- look at Bywrong Harrison, sub apps for 1st team.
Unless DW has seen him while just taking in town games prior to becoming manager and based a decision on that, it would be foolish not to have a look (even if sending someone down to Stevenage to watch him and get a report)

Bonnyman shows his true colours. Never a positive previous post re AD now we're into the sell on clauses. It would take a better man than me to write the script. In AD's native tongue... incroyable!!!!

Good first touch. Most unbelievable football comment I've ever read
