I might have got it wrong but if we do extend Chris Herds time here why would it be a loan? I thought he was a free agent and he'd signed a short term deal?

Yes, he got that wrong I think, the interviewer should've known as well

For it to be a loan he'd have to be on loan from somewhere.

I've just got this horrible thought that now Saunders has gone people at the club actually think he is on loan from somewhere?

I thought he treated the interviewer exactly as he deserved to be treated. He gave him sharp, to the point answers when he repeatedly rattled on about totally unfounded speculation, and gave clear answers when the interviewer finally got on to sensible, factual matters about actual games. I don't know about DW but I was getting irritated when the guy blathered on about rumours and speculation - I thought Danny was very patient to be honest.
