If anybody has kids who are interested in playing football or you just fancy a look around,Brampton Rovers AFC have the official opening day of their brand new clubhouse. The clubhouse has been a long time in coming to fruition and hopefully it will serve the local community well and give the kids a great safe place to play football for years to come.

There will be entertainment on the day
penalty shoot outs
facepainting
hot food
live coaching sessions

12.30 till 4 pm sunday 18th

alternatively go to Brampton rovers facebook page.

so why are they called Brampton Rovers?

Do they have anything to do with the Sunday League side of the same name?

The sunday league side use the name but are not really part of the club which is currently u7-u18, as for the name it was just a matter of finding land that was available,no need to change the name of the team.

Thanks to John Croot for representing cfc today as well as chester...i dont know if he reads the board but he won a spray tan in the raffle ( we didnt laugh honestly)..rules are rules and he obviously has to accept and use the prize himself...so if there is an orange glow emitting from the hub you know what it is.

A fantastic facility for junior football in Chesterfield Phil. All those involved in this project should be proud of their achievement and the hard work that has gone into it. Well done.
