He is punched from behind, it's as clear as day on the video.

I honestly don't know what is wrong with your fans but there's definitely something.

There's a still picture of it knocking about and it shows the palm of his hand flat.

We're splitting hairs here though.

It beggars believe. I just can't get my head around the thought process of going on the pitch and trying to lamp an opposing player just because he used to play for your rivals. That said, I have never got the outright hatred and vitriol some folk at football display to opposition fans and players. It's only a game.

I've done nothing but condemn it mate.

My point was in reference to some of you saying that a similar incident when you had a pitch invasion wasn't as bad as it was only a slap.

I put it forward that it was the same with Evatt.

No need to get personal either!

I'm on your board to have a sensible discussion with Chesterfield fans. If I stuck to the PNE board then I'll only get one sided view. It's you that has the issue by all accounts. Its no good comparing which player did what to each other. Chesterfield were lucky not to be down to 9 men in the first leg after the clear elbow and the grab around a throat. Garner has clearly gone after winding Evatt up in the second leg and taken it too far. It makes me laugh that their are fans who believe only PNE have the players an fans with issues. Glad to see some balanced comments from Chesterfield supports on here though. I do believe though that the pitch invasion was uncalled for. PNE have not won anything at this moment. All the issues could have been avoided. Also bear in mind what happened last night. At least there was no overall crowd trouble. It was just one stupid fool who decided to have a go at a player. Hopefully he will be sent down for it.

The game and the behaviour of players is history now. The only talking point is the incident after the game. What is your club's view on this and the behaviour of some of your team's fans?
