They reckon it will nowhere near sell out as some are planning to boycott in protest at the FA.

What kind of way is that to protest nobody will know they are protesting, they'll just assume they're in the pub watching it  ,

They aren't protesting against their club anyway, they are supposed to be protesting against the FA/broadcasters

The boycott idea sounds like a load of old tosh

Sorry but to agree with Cartman its just more attention seeking from them. Whilst they are going on about whats best for the fans i wonder if they've run it past any of our fans as to whether we dont want the game on TV etc. What they are missing here is that by being on TV its actually making the game available to more of our fans rather than just the lucky 500 that get tickets.

They need to suck it up and get on with it. If they want to watch football at 3pm every Saturday dont enter a competition where it could happen and leave it to the rest of us that will suck it up the odd time it happens and take the money and use it.

If they are going to do it properly, they need 2 Statements. One for when they only have to consider their own position, and one for when they have to consider their opponents' position in parallel.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

With an extra £18,000 IF we win the tie!

The tv money is a bit more than winning a 3rd round tie

It is a strange one, if it was on Saturday game there would be 1000+ CFC fans wanting a ticket. It will be interesting see if we shift our allocation now as well as what effect it will have on the home attendance. If it isn't a sell out, it won't be because of any boycott, it will because people can'y be bothered attending on a Monday night when it is on TV. However more CFC supporters will able to watch the game broadcast from a half full stadium, that sort of validates both standpoints

We should sell the 500 regardless of it being on tv

I'm fully expecting the 500 to be snapped up. If not I'll happily go rather than watch it on TV even if it's a post-work rush job.

If they doing a boycott they should give town more tickets and that way everyone moaning about the initial allocation, season ticket holders being given priority etc will all then be able to go and everyone at both ckubs will be happy.

Where are these 500 hundred tickets anyway?

Apparently the FCUM Ticketing Sub-Committee doesn't sit until next week when they are going to discuss the procurement of a medium size John Bull Printing set from Toys-R-Us

Depends which "there" he was attacking. BozaSpireite didn't exactly cover himself in grammatical glory with that post.
