Fcum - 500 Tickets 4k+ ST Holders

Surely just putting them on sale to season ticket holders isn't the right thing to do here. The demand for the game is likely to be well above 500, and i'd estimate demand will out-number what's available by about 500 (at the very very least).
As i've mentioned in another thread, why not give priority to those who make the trip to Fleetwood this weekend?
I like many other season ticket holders have made most away games this season (some of the followings compared to last season have also gone down) - There has to be some sort of reward for this.
No need for a points system as such, but maybe a case of as follows: Season ticket holders with ticket stubs from the Fleetwood game (Day One of Sales) - Remaining tickets go on sale to season ticket holders on a first-come first-served basis.
It may be that there are more than 500 who go to Fleetwood too - but you would imagine the majority would want to go to FCUM.

Why Fleetwood?
Anyone with a stub for Carlisle or Rochdale away should get first dibs

I doubt though the club will be motivated to prioritise those who fill the coffers of other clubs ahead of season ticket holders, lounge members etc.

season ticket holders. One each. By ballot or first come first served.
Folk will moan either way

Really? How do you know?
Smacks of the old 'Supporters Club' favouritism, to me.
And what about folk who travel with 'The Bridge' or regularly attend away matches by other means?
Nah, no individual Town fan is better than any other, so unless there's gonna be some sort of 'lucky draw' it'll be first come, first served.

Indeed. These ticket threads are always the worst on here (no offence OP, not blaming you for starting it).
I see away games as nothing to do with our club's finances so season tickets, first come first serve for me. See how early we can get people down at the stadium. If you're not willing to be there by 11pm the previous evening you shouldn't be allowed a ticket.

only way they can really do it is ST holders first, 450 available at windows, 50 on phones or summat similar - one each per ST
queue up (in person or on phone!)
any left (yeah right) - general sale
and yes, no Town fan is better than any other
I'd rather they all just get put on general sale as ST holders get enough perks in my opinion, by they whine and moan like hell if they do not get preferential treatment (despite the fact that they may not go to any away games all season) so club may as well prioritise them for a quiet life
fairest way is general sale - all 500 (no players tickets or sponsors or owt) - go on sale at 9am on phones or in person, if you want one, you queue or take your chances ringing up
As long as they don't mess around and try and sell them online at 2am or summat daft again and then change the sale times etc etc so some folk get no option of even trying to get one

They get a full season, 23 games for the equivalent of paying for only around 17. So, paying up front gives you about 6 games free - it's something like that anyway.

But the club advertise perks for situations like these. If they didn't honour their word they'd risk even fewer season ticket sales.
It's just the way it is.

Agree entirely, while ever it's advertised that buying a season ticket gives you priority for away tickets then that's what it is..no amount of arguing or cussing on here will change that. If they state in future that buying a season ticket will no longer guarantee first choice on away tickets then so be it...Christ these are tiresome threads
