sure this signing as cost very little till he gets up to match speed

I read it as him being one for the future and trying to develop him, rather than him being near the first team and challenging for a start

Why why else wouldn't he play unless he wasn't fit? He's not likely to be acclimatising or anything is he? The only reason players don't play are because they are unfit, suspended or s**t

Isn't this why we have a reserve side? Bring in some rough diamonds and try and develop them into a decent player without having to go out and spend significant sums of money.

Give the lad a chance, it might not work out but clearly the club feel the financial outlay is worth it.

He looked decent for the reserves, he needs a few games like Herd to get match fit.

My initial thoughts, too.

Maybe needs a bit of time to adjust to the tactics and instructions Saunders requires from him.

Guys, guys, guys. Raglan wasn't signed to go straight into the first team, either. It doesn't mean much.

He certainly has some catching up to do with only 6 senior appearances in Italy (according to Wiki

Interesting insight into the sort of player he is.....

"Not expected to contend for the first team yet"

We've signed a training cone then. The new Carl Lamb.

He's got a lot of developing to do to be football league standard if he's 23 and not already good enough.

Along with Armand, Banks, Humphries, O'Neil, Harrison, Donohue, Onovwigun, Chapman, Simons, Dieseruwve & Orell.

At least we can't be far off having one of the best reserve sides in the lower leagues.

He needs to go back in time not forwards.

Chapman probably is but he isn't needed. O'Neil ought to be but we've seen precious little evidence so far.

Its another very strange signing , the lad has had a brief stint in the 3rd and 4th divisions of regionalised italian football..fair play to him for that why he was there i dont know, he failed to impress in an u21 match for cov and now we sign him, he is 23 not 19, yes he can develop but surely there are english players out there with more to offer ,regardless of how much he is getting paid its still money going out the club.
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART
