Excellent.

One more needed now. What I would do is shift Herd to RB and bring in another CM, preferably left footed. It seems to me Herd has excellent athleticism and aggression but maybe not the finesse for CM. Coincidentally, Scunthorpe's Tommy Rowe looked a very good player to me. On loan from Wolves, expiring at the end of October.

Another CB even though he is left sided? Guess that is Hird and Raglan benched. At least we won't have to spend months getting him match fit

Herd was signed as a full back so maybe another CM might be the way to go as Saunders attempt to fill that berth with O'Neil has failed dismally so far

Pretty unusual circumstances for sure, anyone know if we've ever had the same situation where a player plays for us in a competitive game one week and then against us in the next competitive game? I assume we must have but I can't think of any.

Just looked at the extended highlights. He seems to be playing on the right even though he used his left foot a lot. I had only assumed he was left sided having read that he had played LB when he was younger. Maybe he is genuinely two footed, like Margreitter.

I suspect that, as has been said on here, Evatt will now undergo an operation on his hand a be out for a few weeks. If not, one of Hird or Raglan to go out on loan.

Meanwhile I for one expect no magic cure until we can stem the number of attacks coming at our defence.

Mick Leonard played against us whilst we loaned him to Halifax then he returned to us shortly after when Hart was sacked.

Why would you want one, when we can have both. From the options we currently have, SEB is needed. He's also leading goal scorer at the club, too.
Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.

this would appear to be a signing that strengthens us so well done town. 3 month loan, are these the ones that can't be extended?

Its an emergency loan at the moment, but as it runs until January we can extend in the transfer window if we and Rotherham want to

it can only be converted to a long term loan, once the window opens in January and he'd then stay with us til the season ends, no recall. As it stands, he can be recalled with 24 hours notice, once the initial 28 days are up.

Unless they are desperate to offload, I can't see then allowing an experienced defender leave for good, given their current plight!

Didn't Phil Picken (who was at the game on Sat) play against us for Notts County whilst on loan (approved by then boss Rico).

it this deal had been lined up a while (alan biggs mentioned it on twitter last week) and your suspicions regarding Evatts Op were correct, he'd have been for the Op as soon as he got his 5th booking last Tuesday night to minimise his unavailability?

Wouldn't surprise me if we see more movement in the squad, maybe Hird or Raglan out on loan??

Although we've been one down at CB since Fitzwater went back.
