He obviously made the right noises at that meeting. Probably talked of his desire to develop young players, which would have ticked a big box with DA.

Perhaps Dave Allen spoke of developing youngsters after being sold on the project by Chris Turner. Dean Saunders just nodded his head at the right times in a yes boss sort of way, occasionally citing Toshack; Wales and Gareth Bale. I think the owner has gone for a yes man who wouldn't rock the boat.
