I would expect the manager of a professional football team to conduct himself similarly to how he expects his players to behave, ie quiet night in, or at a hotel, little travelling and a good nights rest. Anybody referring to Cooks antics, and of course he delivered the goods, is overlooking the fact that those issues eventually had a part in his downfall here.
For our manager to be giving not only Friday night "how's about this for a story folks" seminars and running the rule over other league teams performances on Sky TV on a Sunday morning whilst we are involved in an alarming run of results and performances is unprofessional in my view.
His job is here. And regarding the comment that it might have been a prior engagement then he should have either pulled out and accepted the costs or rescheduled at a more convenient time.
