Interesting - definitely his favourite position is CM, but 'will do a job for the club, wherever he plays'.

Not getting too hung-up about that, as Talbot is/was a RM, Darikwa was a RM and Clucas was LM, all played well at either full back position. So, I would expect O'Neil to slot it a RB, but the flexibility to play anywhere in defence (or midfield, should our midfield dynamo be tempted away)

Nowhere have I seen that he's ever played right-back/anywhere across the back 4.

Looks very much an attacking player

Saw him at the ground yesterday, don't think he'd be able to stop a pig in a ginnel.

On the player interview he said he could even play a CB at a pinch but definitely mentioned FB
