Looks a good, versatile signing. Seen lots of positive comments from Scunthorpe fans. Good stuff.

Well the last two ginners we signed went for over two million smackers.

Here's to the hat-trick!

Thinks he has come here as a midfielder, he thinks is his best position and wants to play in the position

Suddenly a lot of midfielders?

Well why do you think we've just signed a CM for a fee?

Because everyone has been saying we were short in there anyway and didnt want Banks in there so we basically had Morsy and then Martinez so needed something. Sounds like he's a player both the club and Saunders have been aware about for a while and he was available plus we had the finances for it to work after recent sales. Potentially covering if Morsy was to leave but bar a couple of paltry MK Dons bids and that stupid Bristol City rumour from a twitter account with no credibility there has been nothing in the way of talk with substance he is going anywhere currently.

He can play all across that backas well as midfield according to Saunders if he is the one he was alluding to for the past two weeks

Dear Mr Morsy,

We are signing players for money, this shows we are serious. Here is that contract.

Lots of love

Dean Saunders and Chris Turner.

Hope you're right. He looks a good signing regardless, like I said in the transfer rumour thread I don't know a deal about him but he's had good reports from Scunny fans.

If reports are to be believed he can play both in midfield and at full-back.

No harm in having cover and/or competition for places.

Me to and i could be completely wrong but as it stands it appears this lad is an addition rather than a replacement. Been a few decent comments from West Brom fans as well that saw him play in their first team so hopefully we have another player on our hands. Also fits into the recent plan of players we can develop and sell as well.

he's not come as cover, or to play in defence. 4-3-3 might work, but let's be realistic. At least if he's replacing Sami, he's a great prospect and he's a 6 footer.

Clutching those straws as tight as I can, maybe we're going for a diamond?

Tommy
Talbot evatt Hird jones
Martinez
Morsy Oneil
Oshea
Novak seb

Or maybe so we could switch to 3-5-2 when required, as we now have (touch wood) three good central midfielders

Maybe he's like Clucas - DS bemoaned losing him because he could play in more than 1 position. A player who can fill in 2/3 positions is an asset.

Loads of people on here said that Deanie's way is to play with wideman and get as many crosses into the box as possible so neither formation really works too well in that regard.
