It's funny you should say that. I think I'm accurate when I say my opinion of Jimmy must have been rose tinted - otherwise he would have received offers he simply couldn't refuse from better clubs. Onovwigun and Donahue may yet be good players for us, if they are ready. Playing well in friendliest is one thing, but in competitive football it's a huge step p from playing for Sheffield FC to facing Barnsley

I guess we can just about scrape a first team 11 of players of we to 4-4-2 Hird in the CM wigwam and JOS wide, with Raglan at CB.

But it's a risk. Bad starts will wreck confidence both in the dressing room, and on the terraces.

I'm crossing fingers that my grumpy pessimistic side is being over cautious and the side will do a burnley performance, but I have to admit I'm not expecting much on Saturday.

DS will be 100% preparing to beat Barnsley now with no new players. His best chance is to keep a clean sheet and see if they can withstand a bombardment in their own 6 yard box.

Yes, that's probably accurate. armband and SEB up top. Counter attack football. The Midfield have to be disciplined and protect the back 4. Midfield is crucial, and it's currently our biggest worry.

Not for that reason but I've found out recently ive got my eldest lad for Saturdays indefinitely now (has been at his mums weekends for the last 4 years) so might start taking him again. Then again I might take him to some other localish games in and around derbyshire
