He was told what was likely to happen. Once Dave, Clucas and Morsy have gone (as predicted) we are truly on a hiding to Hope you've been todaynothing. He needs to replace five key players..... With the same kind of qualities....That just isn't going to happen.

And then, very potential scenario... Drew gets injured (again); Jones gets injured..we have no cover whatsoever.

We have no central midfield (if/when Morsy is sold) and certainly no cover worth mentioning. We have no decent wide players.... (once Dave and Clucas are sold) and certainly no cover worth mentioning.

We have one striker of worth. If he gets injured....

So...we are left with a decent keeper; an aging Evatt..Hird (injury waiting to happen); Raglan; and a guy who hasn't found the net for a few seasons (and even if he plays well, his motivation will be truly sapped as soon as he looks around the dressing room). Saunders has got one hell of a rebuilding job on his hands; he needs to bring in at least eight players of decent quality.

Hope you went today.
God I hate this league.

Well it started along the lines of "we lost how much" - then went into Bristol/Preston/MK Dons/Swindon are spending how much?which morphed into promotion out of this league cost how much? then "these players are worth how much?"

And there you go. The realisation of the costs of achieving championship football, hit home alonf with the rising level of debt.

There is a new game plan in town ...... its spending less than you earn, and look to develop younger/unknown players.

And go down

If it's in response to an argument it really means nothing.

Connor Sammon gone to the blunts on loan, shame we didn't get our windfall a little earlier, he'd have been a good signing.

He's a very poor footballer. Touch like he's got lead in his boots and shoots like Jon Howard. No thanks.

Meaning?

Really

the statement contains no words with more than 2 syllables making it easily comprehendible. I would have thought to qualify as a glorified masseur you would have taken an exam to show some form of intellect.

Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Never the twain shall meet.

If your paying top dollar for a player you'd be in a very small minority picking him

And go down

Nah, we won't go down. Mid table.
Unless DS of course uses his windfall to sign a couple of quality players. We need 4 top notch L1 signings. Get them, and if SEB IF FIT THEN WHO KNOWS
A new hope.

I'd really like to know his exact thinking, Fish; his short and long term plans. No bs just honesty.

I wish DA would take as much as possible of his loans whilst we are a position to do that.

Well it's clear that once the realisation of the finances and just how much it would cost to mount a serious push for promotion they got cold feet.
I have no problem at all with reducing the debt to sensible levels and getting the club trading in the black on month by month basis, indeed it welcome it.
A new hope.

We all welcome it but surely we have to compete on the field to a decent standard to ensure we are safe in L2 or the crowds will really plummet.

Crowds won't plummet this season it might be the one after if we don't do well. We have very little walk up crowd, the vast majority of the home support are now season ticket holders

Be interested to see the numbers. There may be more than you think given how many ST seats are not taken for different reasons.

I really don't expect to be in a relegation struggle.
