Hardly a statement of fact, is it?
A possibility, yes.
But, eh, I think that some time in the future some club I can't guess which, but might be a championship club, might make a sizeable offer for Morsy.
Similarly, I think that some time in the future a club, unknown to me, might make a sizeable offer for Darikwa.
Chances are - I will be right aren't they?
That's a fair enough post, 'dtp'.
However it wouldn't surprise me if things move far faster than you suggest.

People moan like crazy yet fail to see how far we have come. Normality for this club is seeing our players released and now we get upset if they go for less than a million (not aimed at you Ex3).
Long may it continue I say. The key is to keep up the standard of buy low sell high.
Fair point - but does this mean we get anything to spend on the team? Is the debt going down? Do we need fewer people to attend to break even? Is Allen a happier man than he was 2 years ago? Mmmm

I just have the feeling we've been spoilt by the past couple of years of acquiring good young talent on the cheap- it's a helluva trick which all clubs are trying to pull, and CFC pre-Cook were rubbish at it, the odd exception such as Kev Davies and Jamie Ward aside.

When see the wage bill for the last 2 seasons I'm not sure we did it on the cheap

I'm not sure we can yet say any of raglan, Banks or Gardner have been successful signings. Raglan has shown potential in abundance and looks like he will make a right player but he has yet to make a first team spot his own and then he will have to keep it over a long period. The other 2 appar to be going backwards

Raglan is the one I'm wanting to see in the cb spot, he a class player and given the chance by DS, he'll be bringing in another chunky fee come the end of season.

I think with the exception of Doyle and possibly Roberts all were Paul Mitchell recommendations, Cook wouldn't have wanted to tempt him to Pompey otherwise
