I'm hearing we can expect what's described as a 'sizeable bid' for Sam Clucas from an as yet unnamed Championship club in the near future.

Make no mistake, the powers that be will be desperate to makes some of these "big" money moves happen.

What remains to be seen is club's opinion of "big".

If it's like some people's WAGS, we could be left very disappointed...

Thinking about this I'm inclined to say that Sam would be a bigger loss than either Jimmy or Robbo. I just feel he has all the tools to develop into a genuinely top class player. His versatility (something the other two were limited in) would also be a huge loss. Oh well, onwards and upwards eh?

He might make a really good championship attacking full back with the right coaching. £500k+ and he will be off

With all due respect what you have just said is that the club are expecting a bid for one of our players, which is what we've been expecting anyway.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not purposely playing down what your saying but what you are stating is something we've been waiting for this close season.

We have already turned down 3 bids from Wigan in excess if that....no pressure to sell as on 2 year deal but £1 million and he will go!

Hardly a statement of fact, is it?

A possibility, yes.

But, eh, I think that some time in the future some club I can't guess which, but might be a championship club, might make a sizeable offer for Morsy.

Similarly, I think that some time in the future a club, unknown to me, might make a sizeable offer for Darikwa.

Chances are - I will be right aren't they?
