The RAC Rally no longer exists. There is the Roger Albert Clark rally which is sometimes shortened by people to RAC but it's an insult to the purists. The one you are thinking of is the WRC championships which has races all over the world. The British race is held in Wales but for how long is the big question mark, it needs money.

I obviously did'nt read the programme before posting, Paul Harts notes state it was because of a match between Derby & Forest and they were unable to guarantee the manpower to control our game!!!!!!!! Lol... Other players listed as town players I can't remember were S.Cordiner & C Boyd both showing as 1 appearance as sub..... Anyone remember them?

Scott Cordner came through the youth ranks and Charlie Boyd on loan from Peterborough United.
I think most folks would probably struggle to remember either.

I remember them all and was at the match- Cordner was a midfielder who played a couple of matches when we were struggling and then disappeared, and I thought we'd picked up Boyd as a free agent (non-contract type arrangement) when we had an injury crisis that post-Wembley season.
I guess this was 1990, looking at the team?

Scott Cordner was a striker who scored on debut I think and ended up only playing 3 games before being binned off - he was still bitter about it when he interviewed me to join the temp employment agency he worked for in Manchester in 1998
