Would have been a decent partner for Seb
Fantastic scoring record, wouldn't be surprised if cooky wasn't in for this guy as well with the Irish connection.

Given Peterbroughs track record, and that he still had 3 years left on his deal, wouldn't suprised me if they've chucked £500k at his signature, plus ad ons.
Way out of our league.

Fixed!
On the Irish league players, did we ever sign any direct, or was it always players who had previously played in that division who later had proven themselves elsewhere?
In times past I would be grumbling about us missing out on the lower league gems, but now, I'm happy to leave this sort of this thing with paul mitchell, he seems happy to wait for a player to kick on in a club playing a similar style to our first team before taking a shot.

Just announced he's 'disillusioned with football' and Peterborough have agreed to cancel his contract so he can return to playing amateur in his native Ireland, after scoring 0 goals as a pro.
Expensive gamble that didn't pay off this time.

Swansea signed Rory Donnelly and he's now playing for Gillingham.

So, the original poster was right - he would have made a decent partner for SEB
