After the initial resentment for Cookie leaving I feel so sorry for him being backed into a corner. All that hard work. He loved our club, players and fans. All he wanted to do was take us further, progress and become more successful. But that's been taken from him, his motivation and passion for the club completely sapped out of him

Fortunately you've had a lucky escape Paul Cook and you deserve better than how you've been treated. I wish you all the best and don't blame you one bit for going to Pompey

Unfortunately as fans we are stuck with these selfish people running or should I say ruining our club. Never felt so down as a Town fan. So much potential and now I feel it's a downwards spiral. No chance do we have the board or CEO to overlook the Championship football drive.

I don't feel sorry for Cook. I don't feel sorry for the Board, CEO or Chairman. I don't really feel sorry for our fans either.

I feel more for those players who've fallen at a critical hurdle in their playing careers to now find that their manager has departed, Along with other players likely to depart - Morsy, Clucas spring to mind. The players will be on a real downer!

Utter drival. He has been lying for weeKs to us all. How he has behaved outside the club has at times been disgraceful

Cos he realised he had nothing to come with this unambitious lot - sold top scorer and given £10.000 for his replacement

You don't really feel sorry for the fans. Well I B****Y well do ! As a fan that has just stumped up for 2 season tickets it's us that's been let down the most. I'm sure the players will be fine going on their holidays in the next few days.

Don't feel so sorry for him, his £80k per annum wage increase will soften the blow for him.

Managers, players, directors come and go. Twas ever thus. Only the fans are truly loyal to the club - and yet we put these people on a pedestal, call them 'legends' etc. We build them up and polish their egos. Time to call a halt.

We are the 'blue and white army'. We should never again place the manager's name in front of that sentence.

Right manager, just the wrong time. If we had lower debts and a touch more financial strength coming into this pre season it could have been so special.
