Too right. If other clubs cannot afford the full fee for OUR assets then tell them to go f**k themselves till they either find the money or go elsewhere. Cannot believe how easy we are making it for other teams to take our prize assets. They have a value, pay it in full or go away (is what other clubs would do to us anyhow)

Great negotiator our Mr Turner won't budge an inch and always does the right thing for our club. As honest as they come. A rock for the club to build on. A man you would want at your side in the trenches, and we laughed at mansfail's lady CEO. You have to ask which is worst?

With an add on clause negotiated by Turner for an extra payment if they dig up a UFO containing Elvis and Lord Lucan from under Fratton Park

Now you are just being silly...

There was no mention of a UFO in the contact I saw :glare:

So we sell a 27 goal striker in Jan for £2 million less than market value

A manager leaves to go to a club a league below

Appoint a manager who oversaw a team who were relegated from league 1

Ah right !

So what are ya saying? :)

Said the same thing about DA a while ago and was ridiculed for it. What my owls friend told me about him some years ago has over the past 48 hours been proven true so far.

Nothing that has happened in the last 48 hours makes any sense.
When the story about Cook originally broke I was told from someone inside the club that we wouldn't exactly be breaking our backs to keep him. However, there was still this feeling that we could get a manager who - along with the current assets might make something of a go of it.
Now however it looks as if whoever comes in won't have any of the current players and won't have anything like a budget to work with, so what is Allen doing??? He's supposed to be a shrewed businessman - but there's nothing shrewed about any of this, he's just dismantling something that could make him more money in the long run. Doesn't make sense

I think the technical term is 'cutting your losses' ......

WTF!!!!

We're becoming a laughing stock. Do we do any negotiations or just agree to anything other clubs ask.
Why am I not surprised that we fail to make any money despite selling our crown jewels.

It actually pains me to say it but I am so so glad I haven't bought my season ticket for next year yet and I won't be renewing it for the first time ever.

Thoughts are with all those that have renewed already.

I'm thinking along the same lines as well mate. I'll still go, but they don't deserve our support which has been everything they asked for.. 7K average?? And to do this is unforgivable.

I'm pleased I have renewed , I always support my club whatever is happening , if no one renewed we would soon have no club to support at all

DA and his cronies couldn't give a f if we were successful as long as they get their money back. As soon as it's back in his pocket he'll leave us. It's so so frustrating. We've had the best chance in many many years to progress this club and he couldn't care less. The club deserve my money but I've had enough of the morons running it. I'll still go but i'll not be able to attend many with uni anyway. Would have been worth the travelling every week if we were allowed to progress with PC though.

This is the most down ive ever felt supporting us.
We are/were so, so, so close to the biggest achievement in our clubs history. Now the only way is backwards im afraid and DA and CT's pure idiocy is to blame as far as i can see.
Who put the ball in the Mansfield net? Super Jackie Lesterrrr

Really? The most down is after the highest league position in 30 years!
Get a grip there has been some horrible times like when there almost wasn't a CFC in 2001!!!

No. They spent thousands in the close season. We are trying to do the opposite. If we go down next season, it will be Chesterfield deja vu, not an Orient.

You can't have been supporting Town long then, I think it's time people got a grip, I love my club have renewed my season ticket already and am so glad I did. I am excited at the prospect of a new manager with new players coming in, if it's Dean Saunders so be it he will get my full backing, none of this crucifying him before he has been appointed bull. We have been relegated already in some people's eyes even before next seasons fixtures have been released. Cooky has done a great job but he has orchestrated him own exit, he wanted out for whatever reason, aleagedly they board want him out so what will be will be.
All I know is I will be a Spireite supporting my club no matter who the manager is or what the starting eleven will be.
