So when it comes to 'lump sum' is this another undervalued estimate for the potential damage it could do? Appreciate that Pompey may have limited funds still but even so this best not be a hopeful punt that Cook will go on to success and bring us more cash further down the line...

I really wish they'd just sell up as DA isn't the hands on chairman that we desperately need. Don't get me wrong I am really grateful for what he's done, but now he's undoing everything.. He gave us so much hope and now he's ripping our hearts out. This season should have been the best season of my Spireite supporting life and I should still be buzzing and looking forwards to already to our next campaign, but instead I'm actually looking forwards to a summer without football (never ever said that before) and I'm not looking forward to next season at all.

I couldn't agree more. Wednesday fans will be sniggering and saying "We told you so!" and you know what.... they have every right to. Can some one remind me why he came to this football club?

Too right. If other clubs cannot afford the full fee for OUR assets then tell them to go f**k themselves till they either find the money or go elsewhere. Cannot believe how easy we are making it for other teams to take our prize assets. They have a value, pay it in full or go away (is what other clubs would do to us anyhow)

Said the same thing about DA a while ago and was ridiculed for it. What my owls friend told me about him some years ago has over the past 48 hours been proven true so far.
