Cook's replacement will be Dean Saunders.

Why, why, why, why, why.

On what planet does this appointment make sense? Exactly what's the thinking behind it?

His record is one of failure and relegation, what's more his Crawley side that visited the Proact recently were abject, one of the worst I've seen not just this but last season too.

God I hope it's wrong, merely misdirection on the Club's part as they target another.

Too many Radio Sheffield journalists are saying the same thing, though.

I can only wonder what the back-lash will be from fans left reeling by the departure of a highly successful and popular manager, not to mention twelve months of gaffes, contradictions and baffling behaviour on the CEO's part.
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

If the shortlist has, as appears, been drawn up from recent speakers at the Proact, I would rather have Mr Frostbite.

Well the bookies have closed betting on the event and Saunders was favourite when it closed.

Positives?

He left Wrexham top of the league for donny
He left donny top of the league for wolves.

I'm out

Maybe the bookies have closed betting 'cos someone's pointed out to them that we still, technically for now at least, have a manager?

That is true.

But blimey I`m really not convinced about this at all. He best hit the ground running....there wont be much of a honeymoon period from the fans, and he wont receive the same financial backing from the board that Cook has.

A new hope.

Cook was appointed after his accrington side , although losing totally out played us, legend has it DA said to CT, we need to,speak to their manager, I can't believe a similar discussion took place after the recent Crawley defeat!

Yep. Looks like CFC has bypassed it's own media department so that fans can tune in to their favourite radio show.
