I don't understand where this poor gamesmanship and time wasting came from? Maybe dirty at times but then again isn't every team when they need to be? We never tried to slow the game down or anything like that so poor gamesmanship and time wasting isn't really fair to say is it?

What was Snoddin's problem just before H/T?

He left his seat in the stand, went down the steps and started jabbing the 4th official in the back rather aggressively!

Look mate Beckford took his chance and we failed to score.

You won,I'll get over that.

But from very early in the game your team were guilty of constant gamesmanship and really should have been in receipt of two or three yellow cards in the first half from a stronger referee.

Sadly he bottled it on the big occasion.

The second half only saw him issue two yellows when the red should have been out.

He was very close on a couple of occasions in totally losing control of the game due to his ineptness.

Preston were on a mission to try & get our key players sent off...Ryan, Morsy & Roberts - first half he was being kicked allover the park! & as for gamesmanship & time wasting...you need to watch the match again & see how many times Preston players went down on the floor hoping for the game to stopped...keeper taking forever to take a kick...Beckford should have been booked after his goal for taking nearly 2-3 minutes to get back in his own half, even though the ref warned him twice!

We lost cos we didn't shoot when we were in good position.Instead tried to play negative football in there penalty area trying to walk it in.One goal was all we needed one bl*ody goal to keep them on the back foot !!!

Negative football? Give me a break, you can't just shoot when there's two banks of four standing in your way. We play football the right way, calling it negative is absolutely ridiculous. Didn't you also think the referee 'let the game flow'? Come on buddy it's too early in the day to be trolling.

We never tried to get your players sent off at all... It was their fault they grabbed one players neck and pushed the other in the face.... Johnstone took no longer than any other keeper taking kicks. Have you seen people like Roy carroll this season? That is proper time wasting from a keeper. We went down hoping to stop the game no more than you. Then Garner did go down a couple times but no more than your players did. It was actually one of Garners better games for not going down...

Nah, sorry, not having this one bit. Garner was constantly going down holding his head, it was painful to watch. You were purposely going down frequently especially after the first 20 mins in the first half to slow our tempo, I was wondering whether Westley was still in charge. It happened far too often for it to be a one off.

But that's football innit, we rarely see the cheating from our own players. Ftr I don't blame Ryan for trying to elbow the weirdo trying to insert himself into him. Sexual assault is a foul, right?

Well put! "Look at me Beckford" was the most blatant piece of time wasting I have seen. Decent enough player but he must lack self-confidence if he has to resort to a such an ego trip.

Keeper was generally taking nearly 10 seconds when he had the ball in his hands whilst in play and far longer for set pieces nearly the whole game and not once did the ref speak to him.

It was far from 10 seconds...

At the end of the day you had all the possession yet couldn't score. If your defender hadn't pushed Garner in the 6th minute he'd of got a touch to the ball meaning Beckford wouldn't of been clean through.

You seriously can't deny as a team you were time-wasting? Even with team bias that's pushing it too far.

I agree..."if" etc. To quote Cook "that's football". Was a well taken goal.

Even with my bias Ryan should have gone for his elbow. Not sure about Roberts.

I thought you were a cynical team tbf and with the calibre of team you have should be playing attractive poitive football, not the negative "anti" football you do. Would I rather watch our football (toothless as it was last night) or PNE in the league above (don't believe it's over yet btw)? Genuinely not sure. Having endured 1-0 football under Duncan I really don't know.

No doubt I'll get a load of "we won" or "we lost" or "it's about the result" but football for me is more than that. A fine balance indeed.

Enjoy the win at HT.

They were time wasting from the kick off. Hopefully they wont do the same at their place, have a go and leave some gaps!
