As many, I never envisaged us in the playoffs come may so I made the decision to book a week in France with the other half.

I'm now sat surrounded by croissants, berets and frogs legs but no way as I know to watch/listen to the game. Now tv/sky go all have geoblocks and the only method of communication to civilisation seems to be through 'Tunein radio' which has let me down in the past due to licensing rules.

Can anyone give me an alternative or tell me if lisencing agreements wont be in affect?

Merci :)

Do you want someone to ask Dave Allen if he can send a pigeon off every ten minutes with up-dates?

If you have internet access, try the BBC Sport web site for a live text commentary. Ski now blocked to UK subscribers throughout most of France. Money-grabbing bas****s, to say the least!

I'm in Tanzania and hoping to get it on DSTV (similar to Sky) and shows all the UK premier. But I think someone on here mentioned BBC radio 5 so if no TV that may be an option?????? Anybody else heard that?

I'll be off for an early night then up at 4:30 (Australia) to find some 'unofficial' sky streaming. I'm not sure how much sleep I'll be getting though. I'm pretty pumped up already so partaking of an early evening beer to calm my nerves.
These pretzels are making me thirsty!

If you can get a VPN set up on your S5 then you will probably be able to watch via Sky Go but would need to find Wifi as well as i wouldnt fancy the roaming charges from streaming it over your mobile signal...unless you are with 3 that doesnt have roaming charges in France.

Other option is to have a look around on twitter, you dont need to be a user to search i dont think, and you may find links to streams that dont need Flash to run.

Try downloading Mobdro. Its not on the app store but give it a google search it will come up. Its a good app for streaming live telly on your phone. I've used it loads, never abroad but should be worth a try.

The good thing about android over apple is you can download from external sources you just need to tell it.

Settings > Security > Unknown Sources

I would have thought theracenetwork.com would be streaming the game live, I use it for watching premiership games all the time, and you don't have to click through any dodgy crap either just to watch the game. there is a small subscription fee of about £4.50 for a full month though. Another alternative would be to install XBMC/Kodi and then use Navi-X or something similar in that to watch live streams.

I always use Timesoccer.com, although it's worth first installing (for free, or via a voluntary donation) the AdBlock software that's appropriate for your browser.

Of course, you would need to beg, borrow or steal a laptop for this and find wi-fi .... but it would be worth it.

Good luck and enjoy the game :)
