I really can't see what your all moaning about the club as a budget and as to stick to it if pc can't live with that then he as the option to leave if someone pays his buy out clause . there are plenty of good managers out the now and now were a good well run club with a good scouting system we will attract better managers

No we won't, if we could attract better managers because we are a good well run club then Cook wouldn't be going in the first place (not to Portsmouth anyroads).
Anyone that follows Cookie has their work cut out with what they'll have to work with to even make us a respectable side.

If correct I suspect it's because was a very popular player here meaning less flack

If true its because he known to Turner from Wednesday and Hartlepool and to DA via the Owls. I doubt they even realise he used to play for town
A new hope.

The alleged £2.5 million budget probably helps.

Have to say, I've listened to Jack a few times and he certainly knows his onions!

Congratulations for the most naive post of the year

There is no way in the world PC would be downgrading if this was a well run club

Any manager coming in would face a budget at best frozen and with a rampant selling culture. He'd be on a hiding to nothing and forever compared to PC but with less resources

We won't find a decent experienced manager and we'll just have to hope we can unearth another PC. Sadly hope runs out quickly at CFC

Turner was part of the regime (Director of Football) that sacked him at Hartlepool, whilst he'd been sacked by Wednesday before Allen joined the board

Just heard a whisper Danny W is the one DA CT want.
PC going to Pmouth on a reported salary of 350k pa x3 yrs and taking all his staff. :(
Kieth Hill for me .....as much as i like Danny as a person but his last few jobs haven't gone well for him!

F that right off!! His last few clubs have been disastrous! IMO Leam Richardson must be offered the position. It's the only viable and obvious option to carry on this brand of football.

DW that is and KH only had success at Rochdale

I'm not sure we have a rampant selling culture. Yes we have sold 2 players but we could have sold a lot more within the same time frame. There aren't many clubs in the bottom leagues that don't sell players. The exceptions are usually those that don't have anyone good enough to sell

There's always a chance that Cook will stay if CT can find the club a buyer.
Lets all hope that CT comes up with the goods then

I'll second that one. Selling the club is probably the only way DA will recover his investment within a reasonable time frame.

350k per annum, compo payment to town plus wages for all his backroom staff, not likely they haven't got that much cash
