Allen's record on managers has been excellent so far - and insisting they play attractive football.

Names in the frame: Hill, Tisdale, and based on a tip from a mate in the North West - Phil Neville.

I was thinking tisdale, but he might not have the links up north. Done a decent job down in no man's land though and their youth set up has produced first teamers

Still think Richardson will get the gig

Never thought I'd say this about a Richardson but I hope he does.
Here we go again!

Richardson with Humph as ass man / player (to retain his PFA role),
Turner to go and be replaced by Danny Wilson as CEO

That's the most upsetting thing about it, you can imagine things going downhill very quickly in terms of the club's relationship with the fans once Cook has gone

What's missing for me is leadership. I called for Dave Allen to make statement of intent - preferably backing Cook; he's not done so.

The conclusion must be that an increased player's budget will not be forthcoming it is likely Cook will depart and with him the dismantling of the team. Hope I've got it wrong.

If we fail to gain promotion I've been told the players budget remains exactly the same as this season.

Should we reach the Championship it will see an increase of 75%.

This came from within the club, from someone whose name I will not reveal.

Cook has been aware of this for some while.

Hill's contract runs for another 3 years

Cook's runs for another 2 years and in the scale of things actually means nowt.

Can we get Biggs onto Rochdale and find out what Hill's release clause is, then he can tweet it to encourage potential suitors, sorry I mean CFC to tap him up?

And would that be enough for Cook to stay or have things gone too far? (my guess would be the later)

So they're expecting similar income levels to this season, are they?

To be fair, Chris; he's only appointed one....
As I've stated before, why would Hill come, likewise Phil Neville? If quality players are to leave and the budget cut, what's the point?

Didn't Allen have a massive say in appointing Sheridan?

Danny Whitaker?

Not sure he's ready for it but he'll sure as hell get my full backing.

Yes he did, Ma Hubbard was all set to appoint Calderwood, indeed the press conference where Sheridan was announced was apparently awkward with Hubbard keep mentioning Calderwood.

I really can't see what your all moaning about the club as a budget and as to stick to it if pc can't live with that then he as the option to leave if someone pays his buy out clause . there are plenty of good managers out the now and now were a good well run club with a good scouting system we will attract better managers

I hope not. DW was great player, but IMO isn't a very good manager.
A new hope.
