I was thinking they were holding them back in case PNE wanted anymore but probably getting too late in day for that unless they sell them on night...

That seemed the obvious conclusion but apparently they have sold the segregation area of E3, so Preston cant have E1 and E2. Club ought to get seats in these 2 blocks up for sale asap really as people are waiting for them to become available.

Why don't we ever do anything straightforward?

So E2 is now on sale and dozens have been taken all of a sudden, perhaps we've been waiting for the complementary ticket allocations to be snapped up (families and friends etc)

I would be really annoyed if I had given up waiting and opted for an inferior seat

I think those who did can swap them for seats in E2 now if they want

The queues from the ticket office have abated this morning; so if you're coming down, now is a good time! 500 away tickets still available.

They still had loads of seats for sale yesterday in the home end when I was looking. Crazy giving us only 2000 seats - they are doing themselves out of money IMO.

I think there is a lot of apathy their end after Sundays bottle job. They think they shouldn't be in the playoffs. I find it strange that they gave Bristol City the whole of that stand a little over a month ago and are giving us a poxy 2k. That game, a top of the table clash attracted 16441 with over 2.5k from Bristol so less than 14k home fans. Why they think they need part of the away stand for this one is beyond me.

It may be a little psychological with the fact of having home fans behind both goals. A lot of Managers etc. openly believe in the philosophy.

Are tickets for home fans on sale for the Bill Shankly end already then?

My initial thought was that 2000 would be a pre cursor to see how our sales went and then potentially give us more as we've only taken over 2000 to a handful of games but if that's not likely to happen then definitely some psychlogical warfare at play and I'd be aggrieved we didn't stick them in E1 & E2 in reply

221 + E1 left. Few walk up sales tomorrow should see us sell out?

Shame you can't take plastic bottles into the ground as we could have waved thousands of them at them

217 now + E1. Tension is killing me. That's about 7300 home fans...

It would seem the club are refusing to issue comps to scouts due to demand for tomorrow's game!
