He"ll be right on this given his likely source

He was right all along about Cooper to Leeds. I personally don't get the vitriol towards a guy doing his job, just because we find his stories sometimes unpalatable to our hopes and wishes.

Rob it's done but only once play offs finished. When I say done I mean agreed by all parties but signed off no

Please tell me how on earth it can be as clear cut as you say when we might be in the Championship when the play offs finish, another Pompey wind up, please go away till we know either way,

Watching the clip, it wasn't Biggs that instigated that particular line of discussion to be fair. He did seem a little flustered for a second as if he was trying to remember what the official line is.

On Cook, there were some stories over the weekend on Twitter about his time at Sligo, money from Coleman deal and the nature of his exit. Not sure if they're repeatable here
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Biggs saying inside word almost certainly means Turner has told him

Would Turner be stupid enough to tell Biggs on the eve of the playoffs? I don't think he actually is, well?

However if the cap fits, it is time Turner gets driven out the club

don't get how he can possibly be looking elsewhere when he doesn't even know what division we're in next season and therefore what the budget is or might be?
If this is already decided then Cook will go down in a lot of people's opinions.

I think he has already. PC has proven himself to be no different to anyone else, says all the right things about loyalty but shows little of it himself. I think his position and standing with the fans has been damaged beyond repair and it is untenable within the club. Portsmouth for Gods sake, is that the height of his ambition? Let him go and sooner the better if that what he wants.

Tbf I was told last week but chose not to talk about it on here, was a bit of a loose link, didn't want to get shot down or believe it myself if I'm honest. It's a real shame but I'm sure DA and CT have learnt a lot over the last 2 and a half years, will choose any future manager carefully and have a big say on how we want things run here. Cook has laid the foundations, someone will have to come in to take us forwards. If that is Keith (I'm going on holiday early) hill, then so be it. I just may not be that bothered about listening to too many interviews.

Just try and think what the Southampton fans were like when Atkins left - and look how far they progressed under pocchecino (spelling?) and then again when the Dutch guy (I forget his name) took over.
Here we go again!

If he does eventually go to Portsmouth they'll be a few eyebrows raised, not just in this area

Fail there and his stock will drop alarmingly

Bookies are very rarely wrong... the guys that were tipped the wink and placed their bets (bringing in the price) are no mugs :)

1/10 is about as close as it gets on these to shutting the book. No one would touch that price without inside info surely and even then it's hardly worth the risk.

It's getting irritating now, no denials etc from Cook so as far as I am concerned he is gone. If he chooses to stay so be it. If he goes then all the talk about "respect" and "loyalty" will have been just that.... Talk.

I'd have liked to think he would have stayed for a while longer, and continue to build a club and really get himself a name in football, you know a Crewe style thing, make it to the championship and try to sustain the club there for a season or two before going to a big club.

What will be, will be. Just focus on the next 2 (3) games and cross your fingers for a decent result
A new hope.

Well if it is a done deal has DA the balls to place Cook on gardening leave before Thurs and put someone in charge who wants to be part of this club moving forward?

I am afraid chants of Paul Cooks barmy army together with a wave will look and feel very hollow during the match

Agree with all that. One thing for sure, our players will be wanting to succeed as much as any ardent fan. Cook leaving isn't going to affect morale for the sake of the next two or three games.

If we fail though, you do fear the worst as regards keeping hold of our best players.

Well if it is true, the first thing the new manager will say is "how the hell did we finish sixth, we've got no strikers?"
:) :)
