Might not make a full house. I wonder if a chunk of ST holders are going to watch it on the box instead.

Harsh of parents not to allow them a late one as a one-off imo

Really is poor if we can't sell out for the biggest home game in years. Looking like we'll have several hundred spare seats....maybe they'll give the end block of East st to Preston. Should be all over the local media pushing this.

Agreed, though that's what happens with the floaters when a match is on TV. Having said that I think we'll just about do it (just under 10K)

Hard to quantify but I guess there's a fair few ST holders, not just floaters, who are taking the armchair option.
Perhaps many parents are saying the kids can watch it at home on Sky. Some might even prefer that for the novelty value. Of the 600 tix available a third are in family stands, a third in west stand and the other third split between east and kop

What was the home attendance for Stockport in '89 (7k?) and Mansfield in '95?

As great it is to see us on TV I have never chose that option and never will. You can't beat being there live and smelling the tension of the occasion and being amongst the atmosphere of the game.
Anyone reading that maybe thinking of watching on TV, get down to the Proact your team needs and deserves it. Same goes for the away leg.

How can you miss these games as a fan? They don't come much bigger and rarer as a Spireite!

Pass, though we've come a long way since Saltergate and should be filling and lifting the rafters of the new girl for a game like this!

There's a financial aspect to all this though

I can understand anyone that can't make it, but for locals that have the choice of travelling a few miles or watching on TV then shame on you if you choose the box (unless you really can't afford it financially or are ill)

Just writing that and saw your reply afterwards  (agreed though, paying the bills and making sure your kids have a roof over their heads and a meal inside them comes first)

I'll be first to cough that I will be watching the away leg from the sofa. I have ten days to pay the ST money and might have to find cash for a family trip to Wembley (again lol).

Fair dos mate. Though the home leg should be a sell out and if it doesn't then too many fans who could afford the £20 and a possible Wembley trip expense shouldn't be sat at home watching the telly. Get to Wembley and they'll be going

My grown up kids go to just a few home games a season but for Wembley I have always treated them. It's nice to see as many go there as possible, it's not as if any regular fans wouldn't be able to get a ticket.
