Looks like they've got their facts straight in this one. After all, they've got us playing our play-off second leg against PNE at Brammall Lane!!!!!

I suppose you can't expect an Egyptian source to get everything right

All the Report proves is that CFC can say NO and do know what a player is worth. Well handled by CT/DA.

It shows there was a big difference between Doyle & Morsy's Expectations/finances/Agents/Ambitions/Mentality (delete where appropriate)

Taking of sauces...

Yesterday before the game I was in the company of one of our main sponsors for about 10 minutes and it seems there is a similar link up deal similar to the Gibraltar connection for these 3 Eygptian guys next season.

BEIDI HAMINE

HAMAM MAHSHI

SAMAK MASHWY.

God I hate this league.

You don't really believe the report?? We would have snapped anyone's hand off for a sum over £300k

I would suggest Morsy is our most valuable asset so is worth infinitely more than the feeble sum suggested

There's not a chance we would sell Morsy for 300k

Difficult to choose a POTS because the likes of Tendayi, Jimmy, Robbo, Hirdy & Sam Clucas have been superb this season, but I reckon Morsy will deservedly collect the honours tonight.

12 months left on his existing deal, are we looking to extend or cash in? What about Robbo, he's another one with only 12 months left yet he's so important to how we play.

Also should we be looking to offer new, improved & extended terms to Sam Clucas?

I think I said this at the Brighton Conference - the wage structure has got to change for some key players, not only because they are worth it, but also to safeguard their asset value.

Morsy has said publicly that he has his own private development plan which involved him settling down to honour his current contract then bettering himself next year. There is no chance he will sign another one at a slightly better rate.

We have got to give Tendayi, Jimmy, Sam M, Sam C top L1 money, the like of which they could have earned with Bristol City, Preston, or MK. DA/PC talks over budget improvements are not about increasing squad size, they are about keeping quality.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

So was Doyley but it's a buyers market when it comes to Town.
Any offer over £300k and he would have gone (and of course he is worth more than that- any decent top half League 1 regular under 30 should be)

Fact is dim we can't afford top league one money. Whilst I agree they deserve it if you pay them 5k plus we've got to find some serious cash from somewhere to pay for it. In reality we need another backer to take on some of the load to take us to the next level to compete with the likes of Preston, Bristol sheff Utd on the wages front. Didn't the blunts have a fender playing yesty that's supposed to be on 20k per week?

No one is going to invest / loan £1M, £2M, £3M or even £4M to listen to Dave Allen tell them how it's going to be done.

It's either Dave Allen's baby or it's A N Other's baby.

I don't think there's an option. Otherwise we could lose them for nowt, Jimmy imminent; Sam and Tendayi value diminishing by the week when we get into next season.

I can't see tendayi and Clucas being on top whack for us so I think we could get those 2 tied up for longer. Jimmy will be gone and Morsy seems inevitable at some point.
