You would have to be mental to want to go there from the relative stability of a club knocking on the door of the championship.

Maybe I'm naive but all that I'm hearing is it's about a bigger budget. Nothing to do with his own pay etc.
Evatt's interview gave a little away - the players seem to think if we go up he stays.

What gets me is that when the interest in Brown emerged the pundits claimed he would be mad to go there but the same pundits accept Cook going there as logical

It's a well known fact that we are "little Chesterfield" and therefore our players and managers are easy pickings for anybody interested. Certain local journalists when they write/tweet almost imply we should almost be grateful for such interest.
Until the club start to say no, our standing in the football world will always be 'a club of little consequence'.
Now is the best opportunity in generation to disprove that and demonstrate we are building something special here.

We have said NO...........
The ony problem is that players, Managers & Agents include "Get Out" Clauses in th Contracts. It doesn't matter if we are Real Madrid or Accrington a "Get Out" Clause is exactly what it says.
I'm sure some players even have them in cases of relegation

Alas he's right
I'm not saying he's not, but he's about as classless as the team he supports to come on here and goad us like this when we should all be rejoicing and looking forwards to the playoffs for the Championship. He get's on my t!t$ the way he's revelling in it

We don't want to know, we just want to enjoy the playoffs while they last and face whatever afterwards, so go away as you are just an unwanted and very annoying guest at the party
