I barely post on here any more after previously being one of the most active members on the forum, due to idiots and their sarcastic know it all replies.

I was trying to engage in an adult debate, only to be met with a sarcastic comment that he ended with a.Mate.

I'd said nothing in my previous post to antagonise him.

I can't be doing with it any more hence my use of the C and F words to try and force a ban for myself.

No point me removing my post now, said in the heat of the moment, as it's been quoted.

Hiya, I come in peace. I read your original post at the ground on my phone, (ie very small writing for me!) and it looks like I misread it. I thought you were being condescending and pointing out DA was in the same league as Lansdown. We are in agreement that DA ain't going to keep throwing money at, as you say, our club. But I am afraid that's what we need, as the chances of being self financing, and being competitive at tier three remain very low. The percentage of DA's fortune supporting our club far outweighs Lansdown's at Bristol City, that was my point.

But no need for the language. Apologies if you were offended by the sign off, but I must say I was a bit shell shocked with your response. Most colourful I have ever had!

But, on this Saturday evening, there is a great cause for celebration, what a fantastic achievement this season has been. Three games from the promised land.

Thanks for the reply. I agree with pretty much all of that. I was quick to jump the gun earlier, and I was surprised as you normally seem like a reasonable poster on here, which is why I couldn't understand the tone of your post towards me in reply. I was just trying to engage in open debate, something that is getting harder and harder to do on here due to the numpty element. I barely post now for already given reasons, that being one of them. A wholehearted apology on my behalf, and I shouldn't have used the language, I was just upset and frustrated at the time, given my interpretation of what you'd said.

I miss posting on here, but I just feel most threads descend into the same old farcical arguments.

Anyway, as you say, a time for celebration. We are so close to living our dreams.
