Sorry but Rags and Hird have got to start for me from now on and this should be our number one pairing from now until the seasons over IF both are fit. We need to at least see if there is legs with the pairing before looking to redress this in the summer if not. There is no future in Evo and whoever and his pairing with whoever has no chance of us sneaking a playoff slot because as Cook rightfully says... If we can't defend we don't deserve anything - And how many times have we said that this season?

That combo cant defend corners !

We are struggling we need a cb/ partnership who defend by attackingthe frigging cross /ball we currently ony have Evo who does that consistantly

We need two towering and athletic defenders who can attack the ball at both ends of the pitch

Im starting to get paranoid ive witnessed two victorys this season one home one away so im totally p*ssed off, if the orient game wasent bad enough just knew before the game we was not going to win today and when I watch evatt and banks they have stinkers...so pleased I cant make Gillingham.

True, but how's the bloke going to improve when game after game he's watching an over-the-hill pro cost us? Evatt's only going one way (fast) and Raglan can only get better and he isn't going to do this sat on the bench. Let's be honest here, I don't see us conceding three at home to a softer side as Coventry when the Hird and Raglan play, yes we nearly always concede and you are probably right in saying from a corner, but boy we don't concede them like we do when Evatt's on the field.

I take on board what you say about Evatt and his passing, but for the word "Evatt" you could also use the words "Ryan", "Clucas" , "Hird", "Humphreys" etc.

I felt we had got ourselves back into the game today when we actually introduced a bit of urgency through Darikwa, then Roberts taking a quick throw-in, resulting in O'Shea's only shot in the match taking a lucky deflection for our first goal.

Then half-time came and for some reason I can't fathom Humphreys was introduced. Banks became ineffective further forward, Humphreys less effective than Banks when he was further back, and we played right into the hands of a Coventry side satisfied to slow the game down and take a point. Tactically I think PC had a poor game.

The least said about the goals conceded the better other than the defence needs a complete overall for next season as it simply isn't good enough.

Similarly, I would love to see us look threatening from dead-ball situations as we get corner after corner, free-kick after free-kick but hardly ever is there an end result - sometimes it's fair to say that the opposition look more dangerous from our dead-ball play than we do.
