Various people (several of whom I suspect are members of this board) joined John on the walk.
By the time I joined the Spireite Express, (as it became known) in Brimington there were often about a dozen of us.

Remember that......at the time used to wonder why they did it...lol......Service 4 for me from Norbriggs bus stop bottom of Mastin Moor ....saved my paper round money for my bus fair and match...got off at the old bus station and ran up through town to Saltergate....
